Student Attitudes Towards Postsecondary Pathways

​​​​​​In both summer 2022 and 2023, Morning Consult conducted research on behalf of BigFuture to understand how students are thinking about their future careers and their plans to get there, particularly for students interested in pursuing paths besides a four-year college. When it comes to a future career, the most important aspects for students are doing something they’re passionate about, salary, the idea of work-life balance, and work environment/setting, and 4 out of 5 students would like more career exploration opportunities in high school.
